"Wir kommen schon seit Ewigkeiten her und haben schon beim Opa des jetzigen Inhabers Rolf bestellt. Vornehmlich halbe Hähnchen. Die werden auch oft abgeholt. Aber alles andere ist auch lecker. Dazu ein frisch gezapftes Bier oder einen leckeren Apfelwein. Authentisch, vor allem in der Gaststube, aber auch im Saal. Und das alles zu zivilen Preisen. Wer noch nie hier "beim Gackes" war, hat etwas verpasst."

"Herrliches altes Gasthaus, rustikale Einrichtung (aber auch moderner Anbau). Wir waren zum Abschluss eines Grenzganges hier, haben gut gegessen und getrunken, Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war Top und die Preise unschlagbar. Kommen gerne wieder."

"Super leckeres Hähnchen wie früher, dazu haben wir uns 2 Pers. für einmal den Beilagensalat und einmal das Gemüse entschieden. Beides war lecker und nicht einfach nur ein Standartsalat wie bei vielen. Parkplätze sind hinterm Haus verfügbar, es gibt einen Biergarten und wirklich ausreichend Sitzplätze im Innenbereich, zudem gab es eine Rollstuhlrampe. Freundliches Personal und super Preise."

"Das Essen ist sehr lecker, wir waren mit einer Gruppe (ca. 25 Personen) mittags hier und hatten vorbestellt. Die Portionen waren groß, alle hatten den selben Eindruck. Cordon Bleu, Schnitzel, Rumpsteak, Lachs mit Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln, Salat oder Gemüse waren die verschiedenen Gerichte, alles kann nach Belieben kombiniert werden. Ich werde hier noch einmal hinkommen."

"Günstig. Wir können uns kaum erklären, wie das geht. (S. Fotos von der Speisekarte) Zur Qualität können wir nichts sagen, weil wir nichts gegessen haben. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Heutzutage ist es ja schwierig in der Gastronomie Personal zu bekommen. Trotz Unterbesetzung ein Glücksgriff."
